Arenal Side by Side Tour

Arenal Side by Side Tour: The Ultimate Off-Road Ride for the Whole Family

If you want the thrill of conquering rugged jungle terrain on four wheels but prefer sharing the ride side-by-side with your partner, family, or friends, this UTV expedition by Outback Adventures is the ideal choice.

It takes you off the beaten path into vibrant tropical trails, alongside the Arenal River, down to the stunning El Congo Waterfall, and up to panoramic viewpoints without leaving anyone behind in a separate vehicle.

What to Know Before You Go

• Who is it for?: Great for families of all ages and groups who want to experience off-roading together in a secure, roll-cage-protected utility vehicle.
• The main highlight: The mix of rainforest exploration and extra thrills. You'll visit the Monterrey lookout point, head into the Arenal Volcano Ecological Park, gaze at the tranquil volcanic lagoon, and even test your courage on an exhilarating Tarzan Swing zipline over a secluded lagoon!
• What others won't tell you (And we will): Just like the ATVs, you're heading deep into the wilderness—expect bumps, splashes, and plenty of dirt. It's an active 3-hour journey, so wear comfortable outdoor clothing.
