When you host travelers in Arenal, the same questions come up again and again.

As hosts at Butterfly Rentals, helping our guests answer those questions naturally became part of what we do.
Over time, we realized our guests didn’t need another long list of everything available in La Fortuna.
They needed a few good recommendations from someone who understood their stay.

We work with independent local guides, tour operators, transportation providers and businesses that deliver the actual services.
Our role is different.
We help identify experiences we feel comfortable recommending, explain the differences between options and help you choose what makes sense for your stay.
When a reservation or transportation service is needed, we can also help coordinate the details with the appropriate local provider.
This allows us to focus on something that matters to us:
helping you choose well, rather than simply showing you more options.
